Get
your taste buds ready! It?s never too early to
have good taste. There are some incredible food
adventures for kids and teens this summer. Thought
you might have some interest in possibly sharing
with your readers. Today's teens want more than
rest and relaxation during the summer - so camps
and tour operators have come up with the ultimate
in culinary adventures for kids!
Pali Overnight Adventures in California is offering
a culinary institute summer camp. Kids learn from
a 5-star chef, get their own uniform and starter
cooking set and learn to make outstanding appetizers,
meals and desserts. The two week overnight camp
will have kids serving up a good time and some
great food! www.paliadventures.com.
What
a great way for your child to learn to enjoy food.
Also for the food lover, Travel for Teens (a tour
operator) is offering a Tuscan trip for Summer
2006 for kids. Travelers will visit Tuscany, Italy
and experience life on a 500-year-old estate.
They'll get to know the Italian family who owns
and works it. Teens will pick their fresh vegetables
and prepare dinner with a Tuscan chef, complete
with fresh pasta. Yum!

And
with childhood obesity on the rise, there's also
a Summer Camp that specializes in healthy eating
and weight loss. Camp Shane is a New York based
summer program that helps children, teenagers
and young adults learn healthy eating habits and
lose weight. The program isn't a diet, it enforces
lifestyle changes and encourages healthy eating
that will last a lifetime. Now, kids can enjoy
the summer and get healthy at the same time.
